Are you ready to start an exciting career in health care? Start your new career in just 8.5 months!

The Health Care Assistant (HCA) Diploma – Blended Delivery Program is designed to provide students with opportunities to develop knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to function effectively as front-line care-givers and respected members of the health care team.

Utilizing the same curriculum as the SE Career College in-class HCA program, students in the HCA Blended Delivery program learn through a combination of modules done at home and weekly group seminars completed through virtual technologies. These seminars and learning modules, lay the theory foundation for completion of the Personal Care and Assistance skills lab session held on campus and subsequent practice education placements held off-site within various care facilities/community agencies. Upon completion all graduates of our HCA program are eligible for registration with the BC Care Aid Registry.

SE Career College aims to provide a new generation of HCAs with the skills they need to help our aging population. Graduates will have the opportunity to make a big impact on society with a rewarding career!

As Canada’s largest not-for-profit home care organization with over 9,000 Leaders of Impact, we understand what it takes to succeed in this industry. Graduates of our Health Care Assistant program will gain the knowledge and confidence to help clients and their families in a variety of health care settings.
